5DLA PERFORMANCE GUIDE
WHAT TO WEAR FOR HYROX AND FUNCTIONAL TRAINING
Why C3 fabric works for hybrid training
FUSION's proven C3 technical fabric is used across selected tights and training shorts for breathability, moisture management, elasticity and freedom of movement. Some training shorts use Danish-made fabric that is knitted and dyed in Denmark before European assembly. Durable stretch and an athletic cut make C3 especially relevant when a session moves repeatedly between running, squatting, lunging, carrying and sled work.
HYROX clothing for running and stations
A HYROX race alternates one-kilometre runs with functional workout stations, so clothing needs to support steady running and repeated full-body movement. Choose lightweight tops, stable shorts or tights and socks that stay comfortable through sled pushes, sled pulls, burpee broad jumps, rowing, farmer's carries, sandbag lunges and wall balls.
Train in the kit you plan to race in
Use key HYROX training sessions to test heat management, pocket needs, waistband comfort and how fabrics behave when wet with sweat. In Hong Kong and Singapore, indoor venues can still feel warm and humid, so breathable, quick-drying performance clothing can make transitions between running and strength stations more comfortable.
Build a functional fitness wardrobe
For everyday gym training, combine performance tops with shorts or tights that allow squats, lunges and loaded carries without restriction. Add race socks and calf sleeves only after testing them in longer sessions. The same kit can support treadmill running, circuit training and hybrid endurance workouts.
HYROX preparation beyond clothing
Clothing cannot replace structured training, hydration or pacing. Use your event's official rules for current station requirements, then choose apparel based on fit and comfort. Review individual product pages for verified specifications and use the 5DLA size guide before ordering.
